Meet Two Step Taqueria

Two Step Taqueria is a modern Texas kitchen in Austin, built from chef Scott Castell's long-developed vision for a Texas-forward taqueria. After years working as a chef, Scott set out to create a concept rooted in the bold, multicultural, honest flavors of Texas.

Every dish reflects that approach, from artisanal tortillas and scratch-made salsas to responsibly sourced meats chosen simply because they taste better.

We serve tacos, burritos, and bowls made fresh daily, available for pickup, delivery, and catering for groups of any size.

Is Two Step Taqueria gluten free?

Because of the small space we have to work in, none of our restaurants are gluten free, but they are gluten friendly. Ask a teammate for more information.

Do you cater?

We would love to prepare food for your next event. For standard catering orders, you can quickly place your order online and schedule pickup or delivery directly through our ordering system (larger order size require advance order notice). If you're planning a larger gathering, special event, or high-volume order, our team will work with you to customize the experience and ensure everything runs smoothly

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes! And we have great coffee, just sayin.'

Is your beef Halal certified?

Both our steak and barbacoa are Halal & Kosher certified.

Why are some items labeled organic and others are not?

For some farmers and ranchers, the certifications are too expensive or don't entail all that they do on their land. We have tried to source the best ingredients whether it's based on quality, flavor, cost or availability vs. Just looking for a certification that doesn't always encapsulate what we are looking for.
